Justin’s a great photographer. Is that new ground, having the kids do the heavy lifting in images for the blog? It’s a great idea.
Do you do a lot of origami — and do you need special paper for it? I’ve never thought of using origami with kids so young, nor with kids ten years older. Would it work with older kids?

We always have origami available and usually work with it daily either during math or open classroom. I think origami is great for everyone. It is perfect for math and cognitive brain development. It is also relaxing, addicting and therapeutic. It gives you such a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. It’s also a little Pavlovian as whenever the kids see beautiful, square paper – they must fold it.
