Last night and today I was at the workshop: Italian Innovations in Early Childhood Education: A Tale of Two Cities.

It was so refreshing and lovely. I felt like I was back at Sarah Lawrence College where I got my MS Ed:  It was a time in my life like no other, completely submerged for two years, gleaning every word from my professors, seeing so purely the work, the languages of the children in my class in all it’s infinite detail and structure.

I would love to visit Reggio Emelia and Pistoia, Italy. There is never a comparison to seeing something actually in process. So, if anyone wants to send me, I’ll fly coach!

Thank you Christina for helping Paul with our class. I heard they had a great time.

This year we are traveling on a Roald Dahl adventure. We started with Fantastic Mr Fox, then we read James and the Giant Peach, now we are working on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and next up will be Matilda. We will also be cooking from the Roald Dahl cookbook with Amalie's mom and working on many other projects surrounding this book theme.
